What’s one of the biggest reasons young players don’t make it? 🤔
With football so often about them one time opportunities, sadly so many parents and young people don’t have the facilities to be able to travel to trials, training, games etc
When we partnered with Uber, this was the exact issue we wanted to tackle because we believe travel should NEVER be the reason a young player doesn’t make it
That’s a wrap 25/26 Birmingham United FC First team want to thank the management team and players for all the efforts.
Especially for bringing home our first ever trophy 💛🖤
That’s a wrap for the 25/26 season as our attention now turns to next season. We clinched 4th place in the end & secured BU’s first piece of silverware. Huge thank you to all my players for the memories ❤️ Lastly, I couldn’t have done it without my team ❤️

Remembering Mohammed Saleem 13 years on
On April 29, 2013, 82-year-old Mohammed Saleem was murdered in Birmingham in what became one of Britain’s most shocking acts of anti-Muslim terror.
The grandfather was walking home from evening prayers at Green Lane Masjid in Small Heath when he was stabbed to death by Ukrainian neo-Nazi Pavlo Lapshyn.
Lapshyn later admitted to carrying out the attack as part of a campaign of terror targeting Muslims.
He also planted bombs outside mosques across the West Midlands and told police he wanted to start a race war.
