Developed by the Association of Physicians of India (API) – Maharashtra State Chapter (MSC) and supported by Zydus Healthcare, COPD COMPASS 2026 is an important initiative aimed at addressing the significant burden of COPD in India. With an estimated 55 million Indians affected by COPD, and India accounting for nearly one-third of the global burden of chronic respiratory diseases, the need for early diagnosis and evidence-based management has never been greater.

COPD COMPASS 2026 seeks to equip consulting physicians with practical, evidence-based guidance to enable early diagnosis, effective disease management and improved patient outcomes marking a meaningful step towards advancing respiratory healthcare and strengthening primary care.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Agam Vora, Dr. Mangesh Tiwaskar, Dr. Milind Nadkar and Dr. Jayant Lele for their vision and leadership in bringing this important initiative to life.
