There are a lot of charities that do what they say. Tunnel 2 Towers, Mercy Ships to name just two. Check out any charity you wish on Charity Navigator and see how much they spend of their contributions on the task at hand. A good one will spend 85-95% of income on the point of the charity, not on salaries and benefits for staff.
