Friends, an abounding love arises within us when we accept the divine mercy.
Last month, I shared this message with members of Parliament during a talk at the Palace of Westminster in London:
@BishopBarron Your message is becoming tired. Church needs change. Doctrinal development. Quit running it by social norms of 2000 years ago. We know so much more now. You think you know God's terms but you are far afield. You are not a child you are a profit center. You eat the children's food
@BishopBarron Quit hiding behind the Bible. You sound like a Protestant. Look inside yourself. What is there? Catholics, like Francis was, are fat. Do not serve or give enough. Too much sitting and excuses. If you love Jesus you will serve. Action is the best prayer. Face fear. Vote for doers!
@BishopBarron The Pope needs to be younger. Kids cannot relate to ancient Popes. Even Bellichek is in early seventies. Should also be American. America is greatest country in the world for a reason. Rest of world backwoods. Don't worry about loving Jesus worry about loving outcasts. Get real B
@BishopBarron Like it or not Bishop, the Pope is a political position. Pope Francis exhibited this throughout his papacy. I appreciate what you are trying to do by downplaying this aspect of the position but you must take a stand. Being wishy washy serves no one and only results in compromise
