A young man battling kidney failure has shared a heartbreaking message from his dialysis bed, where he says his kidney function is down to just 15%.

He’s urging people not to wait until their kidneys are seriously damaged before checking their health.

He advises everyone to monitor their blood pressure and blood sugar, reduce salt intake, and avoid taking painkillers without professional medical guidance.

He says he’s sharing his experience because he doesn’t want others to go through what he’s facing.

His dialysis costs ₦59,500 per session, three times a week, and he’s also seeking support for an anticipated kidney transplant.
