@FRWiki Read this book for the first time last year, I'm in the process of going through the whole Legend of Drizzt. I love worldbuilding, and it's amazing how alien he made Menzoberranzan feel. Great read.
Out of all the animals who have bitten me and drank my blood, I think leeches are my favorite. No itching, no Lyme disease, no nothing. Little dude was on my foot for hours and I didn't notice until I took off my sandal.
So yeah, camping was pretty fun
Yarin lives in the Oracles Palace with her family in a cozy apartment whose exact location is classified. Despite having some severe disagreements about coffee she gets along great with her parents and loves to play with her younger siblings.
Selling your catch to the owners makes you feel a little queasy, but they buy a lot and pay in cash. On a dreary day you haul your catch up the switchback road to the mansion, only to find a message scrawled in angry red letters on the walls.
CHOKE ON YOUR PEARLS
The owners are isolated, forcing the staff to live in a forest village outside the walls of the mansion. They insist their home was given to them by a higher power, but they refuse to speak that powers name. You can tell the staff is ill-treated by their downcast, frightened eyes
There’s something strange about the mansion on the cliff. It’s construction is more brutal than elegant and the interior is painted in swirls of beige, yellow, and teal. The servants dress in old and stained clothes, woven from the abundant seaweed at the bottom of the cliff.
I ran a new panel at #Portcon today, Setting and Story! It’s all about how to tie a story and its setting together with the theme and plot. Like usual in my worldbuilding panels, I had the audience build something with me as we went along. As usual, it was hilarious.
What’s a High School without a busybody class rep running around? Solyn always encourages her classmates to be more involved in school and won't hesitate to boss anyone around. Tiny, but fierce!

After a long, late night, sometimes coffee doesn’t cut it. Yarin is lucky to have a friend who knows where to find less-than-legal energy drinks. Adrae is in Yarin’s homeroom on days he’s not late or skipping and is one of her closest friends.
Orchard Street High School has a big theater program and Yarin works in the stage crew with her best friend, Imilia. Imilia’s built up quite the following on social media for her makeup tutorials and urban legend horror shorts that Yarin’s more than happy to help make.
Yarin is the 44th Oracle and rules the Oracle’s Vale. There’s a lot on her shoulders, but she has a cadre of ministers to handle things while she's at school. It still means a lot of boring dinners. But it's not all bad, sometimes she gets visits from the Loyal One, God of Dogs.
My book Rigged, High School Oracle is out! It’s about an all-seeing Oracle who really needs to learn how to say no. Check it out on Amazon or Campfire! The cover is on the left by @MaxDei_00 , on the right is a backstage scene from chapter 1 done by https://t.co/TW8QwViuH5
Setting up my booth at #Portcon for the Fifth time! I’ve come a long way in five years and I don’t just mean my hair. I’m presenting two panels this year as well as launching my new book, Rigged: High School Oracle. Here’s to a wild weekend!
