As someone who has worked in HR for more than 5 years. There is no glory in being an employee in south Africa no matter how great the money is.
The only company in SA that is completely worker friendly all around and cares about employee health and wellness is Microsoft ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
The rest of employees in SA are suffering mentally and emotionally to survive physically ๐ข
Nobody talks about how peaceful it is to have money in the bank.
Not rich. Just enough. Enough to say no. Enough to wait. Enough to breathe.
That is the goal.
this literally broke my heart , this is what we now have to do to find employment ๐๐ I hope God blesses him and all of us looking with Jobs soon ๐ญ
I was really low on fuel today but I needed to go pick up my kids from school. I was just praying that the fuel just brings me home. I drove to pick them up in our way back the car stopped in the middle of the road.
Chai, my fears finally came true. I had given my wife all the money I had for house upkeep so I was literally on zeros. One of my clients that supposed to pay for a property on Monday has been delaying.
I didnโt even know what to do.
I called a friend of mine and told him my ordeal. He asked me where I was and I told him.
He didnโt say anything and he hung up.
I was there just contemplating what to do, I decided to call my wife to send me small cash but I couldnโt even leave my kids there to hunt for fuel, plus I didnโt have jerrycan in the car.
While contemplating I saw that my guy driving down. He came out with 5 liters of fuel in a Jerry can. You needed to see my relief. ๐ฎโ๐จ
In this life, donโt do it alone. Have people you can call, and also be someone others can call upon.

Well, @ParliamentofRSA has once again called for public inputs on possible constitutional amendments.
For those who may not know, the Constitution itself allows for amendments through Section 74. In other words, the Constitution was designed to be amended where Parliament and the people believe change is necessary.
Parliament is currently receiving legal opinions on submissions made during the previous Constitutional Review process, including SACR's submission. We therefore hope Parliament will also provide South Africans with feedback on the outcome of that process and explain how those submissions were considered.
As we did before, we the people of South Africa will once again make our voices heard by participating in this process.
I will share the submission link and further details soon.
Public participation should not end when submissions are sent. Citizens deserve to know what happens next.

If the Black and Coloured workers decided to take a week where they stay at home and put tools down
Cape Town would crumble
And yet, they are the unseen
Unwanted
Barely looked at
Considered less than
Itโs mortifying to see
