This week is #NationalPoliceWeek where we honor the brave men and women in law enforcement who put their lives on the line to protect our communities and uphold the rule of law.
This Justice Department will ALWAYS Back the Blue and stand with the officers who serve with courage, integrity, and sacrifice every day.
This National Police Week, we recognize the dedication and sacrifice of @Interior’s law enforcement officers who serve across our public lands and communities.
Their work protects the places and communities Americans value most. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.
They work at ports, at crime scenes, and deep in some of the most remote places in America.
@USFWS law enforcement includes Special Agents, Wildlife Inspectors, and Federal Wildlife Officers, along with the analysts, forensics experts, and support staff behind the scenes.
They investigate wildlife trafficking.
They protect endangered species.
They patrol national wildlife refuges and respond when people need help.
During National Police Week, we recognize the full team behind the badge and the work they do every day to protect wildlife and the American public.
During National Police Week, we recognize our BLM law enforcement professionals who serve America’s public lands and the communities connected to them.
From remote backcountry patrols to some of the busiest recreation areas in the country, our officers answer calls for help, protect public safety, and safeguard the landscapes and resources entrusted to us.
We honor that service and the commitment behind it and the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.
It's Police Week. The National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in #WashingtonDC honors federal, state, and local law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety and protection of our nation and its people. The memorial features two curving, marble walls inscribed with the names of more than 22,000 officers who died in the line of duty, dating back to the first known death in 1786.
This Police Week, we remember and honor our law enforcement partners who gave their lives in the line of duty last year. Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
In 2025, 53 law enforcement officers were feloniously killed in the line of duty. An additional 90,000 were assaulted. This Police Week, the #FBI released the "Officers Killed and Assaulted in the Line of Duty, 2025" special report. See how last year's numbers compare to the past decade on the Crime Data Explorer at https://t.co/IgCb0utb0D.
This week — and every week — we remind drivers to show their appreciation for first responders by slowing down or moving over when they see flashing lights on the shoulder. 🚨
Let's keep our protectors safe!
This National Police Week, we’re honoring the men and women who help keep our roads safe. 🛡️
Law enforcement is at the heart of our mission to save lives. We can't do it without you! 🚓💙
As we observe National Police Week, we remember and honor all law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of their communities.
Their courage and commitment will never be forgotten.
⚡ A historic milestone for tribal sovereignty and energy development.
The Southern Ute Tribe is the first tribe in history to establish a Tribal Energy Resource Agreement, setting a new precedent for tribal energy governance across Indian Country. 🪶
The agreement supports energy independence, tribal self-determination and new economic opportunities while advancing @Interior and Administration priorities for tribal economic growth and domestic energy development. 🇺🇸
This agreement with the Southern Ute Tribe delivers on @POTUS' promise: tribes should have greater authority to manage their resources and move quickly, responsibly and on their own terms to develop energy, create jobs and strengthen our energy future.
