Because management was told the wallet was non-custodial and we were not aware the staking flow transmitted seeds to the backend. We learned that from https://t.co/usTd9B0h4i’s decompilation and have already said so publicly.
That is exactly why we’re demanding a full documented explanation from the developers who built it.
XRPH WALLET SECURITY UPDATE
We are aware of multiple unauthorized transactions affecting XRPH Wallet users, involving XRPH, XRPHAI and other assets, and the significant market impact that has followed.
Our development team is urgently investigating how the wallets were compromised, tracing affected transactions on-chain, and working with relevant parties regarding the possible freezing and recovery of affected assets.
Please do not use the XRPH Wallet until further notice.
We will share further information as soon as it has been confirmed.
@XRPHealthcare Actually this isn’t at all on your development team, you’re leading the project, it’s your responsibility to be diligent, not theirs. By the looks of it you didn’t do as much as checking a ledger explorer to see your solution was custodial.
@XRPHealthcare Never laughed, you lost a lot of people’s hard earned money because you thought taking risks with a wallet was a good idea. I find that to be appalling, not laughable.
@hazardcookie I wish at the time we could share why we rejected some, this one had obvious red flags from the start. I remember them blatantly lying about partnerships in their application
