And the funniest part?

Drake made being a RECORDING ARTIST so lucrative, scalable and globally dominant that the old “rapper → businessman = final boss” hierarchy started looking real funny.

Wayne ain’t teach them how to escape rap.

He introduced two motherfuckers who made rap worth staying home for. 😭😭😭

THAT is why the Drake/Hov tension hits different when you look at the economics underneath it.

Because Hov’s mythology says:

“Look what rap allowed me to become.”

Drake’s career answers:

“Look what I became without needing to stop making RAP the receipt.”
