“The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.”
-Psalms 18:2 NLT
“All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.”
-1 Samuel 17:47 NIV
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. https://t.co/SzC3RULmOk
☀️ Good Morning, Beloved ☀️
As the sun rises and paints the sky with golden light, may this new day find you resting in the faithfulness of God.
**Psalm 86:11**
*“Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I may walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name.”*
This verse is a quiet, profound prayer of surrender. David does not ask first for comfort, provision, or even protection. He asks for direction. He asks to be taught. He recognizes that the greatest need of the human heart is not more information, but a heart that is willing to be shaped by the Lord Himself.
“Teach me Your way” is an admission that our own paths are limited, often distracted, and sometimes entirely wrong. It is an invitation for God to become the Teacher of our steps.
“That I may walk in Your truth” is the desired fruit—not mere knowledge, but a life that actually moves in step with what is true.
And “unite my heart to fear Your name” is the deepest request of all: that the divided, wandering, competing loves inside us would be gathered into one focused reverence for the Lord.
So this morning, let us pray it together:
**Heavenly Father,**
As this new day begins, we come before You with open hands and quiet hearts.
Teach us Your way, O Lord.
Not the way that seems right in our own eyes, not the path that is easiest or most applauded, but the way that is Yours. Show us where we have drifted. Gently correct our steps. Give us eyes to see what You are doing and ears to hear what You are saying.
Help us to walk in Your truth.
Let Your Word be the lamp for our feet and the light for our path today. Guard us from half-truths, from self-deception, and from the noise that tries to pull us away from what is real and lasting. May our decisions, conversations, and quiet thoughts align with Your truth.
And Father, unite our hearts to fear Your name.
Gather every scattered affection. Heal every divided loyalty. Take the parts of us that still chase lesser things and bring them under the holy weight of Your name. Let reverence for You become the center of our desires, the strength of our obedience, and the quiet joy of our souls.
We thank You that You are a God who delights to teach those who ask. We thank You that Your truth is not cold or distant, but living and life-giving. We thank You that a heart united in the fear of the Lord is a heart that walks in freedom and peace.
Bless this day, Lord.
Cover those we love with Your protection.
Strengthen the weary.
Comfort the grieving.
Guide the uncertain.
And keep our hearts soft and attentive to You from sunrise to sunset.
In the name of Jesus,
Amen. 🙏🏻
May the Lord teach you His way today.
May you walk steadily in His truth.
And may your heart be fully His.
Have a blessed and grace-filled morning.🙏🏻💛🕊️
