Our Geography Department took Year 8s on an exciting residential trip to Castleton in the Peak District from 12th-14th November. Students got the chance to dive into the practical side of Geography, connecting what they've learned in class to real world examples๐โจ
Last month, the English department held a lunch to celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth. There was delicious Caribbean food, a treasure hunt, listened to stories from the Windrush generation, received free books by black authors and so much more. Everyone had a wonderful time!
This week the Year 12 biologists have completed another assessed practical, using a blue dye called DCPIP to measure the rate of photosynthesis in spinach leaf extracts!

* staff training is timetabled during the school day. Students arrive later on Tuesdays to accommodate this.
* A PPA afternoon once a fortnight where staff can go offsite.
Last Friday, Year 10 Business students went to @KAKempston for a Business Dragons competition. They spent the day developing a new energy bar and then presented to over 100 people including a panel of judges. Biddenham came 5th out of 16 teams. Well done all! ๐
Year 7 students have been making Karah Prashad in RS this week. Karah prashad is served at the end of a Sikh worship service for the whole congregation to enjoy. It is a simple sweet dessert. Suffice to say, it went down very well with some of our students!
Thank you to @WestfieldSchl for hosting our multi-sport festival allowing over 420 Yr 5/6 pupils to participate. The @BiddenhamIntSch Sports Leaders did a fab job taking on the roles of umpires & coaches; being positive role models to the younger pupils & ensuring they had fun ๐
Y13 Health and Social Care students had a fantastic time during their visit to @higginsbedford. They immersed themselves in Reminiscence Therapy to gain valuable insights that will greatly benefit their studies in psychology and health. Well done all! ๐
