Cholera Hits ISWAP Camp in Borno, K+lls Nine Fighters, Group Ex£cutes Two Additional Infected Members 

A cholera outbreak has reportedly claimed the lives of nine f+ghters belonging to the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) in the Timbuktu Triangle, a notorious t+rrorist stronghold in Borno State, according to intelligence sources.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama, citing security sources in a post on X, said the disease has spread across several ISWAP enclaves in the area, exposing worsening sanitary conditions and limited access to medical care within the insurgents’ camps.

According to the sources, two additional ISWAP f+ghters who contracted the disease were allegedly ex£cuted by fellow members after attempts to manage their condition at Kimba village failed.

The sources said the incident highlights the deteriorating health situation inside the t+rrorist camps, where sustained military operations have disrupted the group’s logistics, including access to medicines and treatment facilities.

“The development pointed to the worsening health conditions within the t+rrorist hideouts, where sustained military pressure has disrupted logistics, including access to medicines and treatment facilities,” the sources said.

The intelligence sources added that military commanders have been encouraged to intensify efforts to intercept medical supplies and pharmaceutical products believed to be heading to t+rrorist camps, a move aimed at further weakening ISWAP’s treatment capability and operational resilience.
