If you’re struggling to get foreign clients, study the portfolios of successful global freelancers.
Pay close attention to how they present their work on Behance https://t.co/epMWkxqoWd
You’d be surprised how much money you’ve lost because of poor presentation, not poor skills.
Try it.
I landed my first AI Automation client from a Facebook group.
Less than 2 months after I started learning.
Here's exactly how it happened.
When I started, I was posting my work here on X.
But I wanted to explore other options — more real projects, more hands-on experience. So I went to Facebook, searched for n8n and automation groups, and joined.
And then I did something most people don't do.
I didn't post. I observed.
I watched how the group worked. Noticed that most people came there with problems — broken workflows, configurations they couldn't figure out, issues they were stuck on. I took notes. I got ready.
Then one day, a guy posted that he needed fixes on his automation.
I didn't respond in the comments.
I went straight to his DM.
"Hey Ben, I'm reaching out to you regarding your post in the n8n community..
I'd like to help you with your n8n errors..
what issues are you facing?"
He said he needed a video call to show me. I asked him to send a Google Meet link.
He replied: "Now?"
You could tell he wasn't expecting that. He even mentioned it later — he was genuinely shocked that I was ready to jump on a call immediately.
But here's what most people miss: I didn't jump on that call empty-handed.
From my background in marketing, I knew you never get on a call unprepared. So before looking for client, I had already put together a portfolio in Google Docs. solid projects. Ready to share at any moment..
He asked me to tell him about myself and show him what I'd built. I walked him through the portfolio. He was impressed — then asked how long I'd been in the industry.
I said "a long time now."
even though I had been learning for less than 2 months.
He showed me the problem. He'd bought a WhatsApp bot workflow and couldn't configure it.
I explained the issue..
He asked how long it would take. I said 3 hours. He asked my rate.
I paused.
Said $20/hour — half expecting him to negotiate.
He just said okay.
We agreed on crypto payment cause it was easy..
He gave me access to his n8n instance and I got to work.
Ladies and gentlemen… it took more than 3 hours. 😩😩
The problem was bigger than I thought. But I didn't stop to re-negotiate. I didn't send an updated invoice mid-job. I fixed it, delivered it, and made sure it worked.
He sent $70. Three hours of work plus a $10 tip..
I was super happy..
Fast forward — we got into a contract. $100 every Monday..
The contract felt more like an internship to me because honestly, I just wanted the real-world reps, cause I was still in the learning phase..
One day on a call, I asked him why he hired me so fast.
He said: *"You replied fast. You were ready to jump on a call. And when the work took longer than we agreed, you didn't stop to bill me — you just delivered."*
That contract changed a lot for me.
He gave me access to his Skool account to sharpen my n8n knowledge..
He even bought me a monitor so I could work faster.. He said I was stressing with a 14inches screen 😩
All of that — from a Facebook group. Less than 2 months in.
Now here's why I'm sharing this.
The thing that got me that client wasn't years of experience. It was having a portfolio ready..
Portfolio that speaks for you.. (even though I was 2 months in, my portfolio was solid at the time..)
Being faster than anyone else to respond. And knowing enough to actually solve the problem.
Those are teachable things.
And I'll be passing them to you in the AI Automation Launchpad Mentorship..
Not just the technical skills. But the portfolio, the positioning, the confidence to get on a call and deliver.
I only need 20 serious persons for this.. (few slots remaining)

Instead of spending years trying to learn every digital skill out there, why not focus on learning how to monetize the course you’re already studying in school? 😉
A lot of students underestimate the value of their field because they believe only tech skills like Graphics Design, UI/UX, Shopify, or coding can generate income online. But the truth is, there are massive opportunities attached to professional knowledge too.
I never imagined that one day I would be earning consistently from my course of study without even depending on the certificate itself. Civil Engineering has earned me over $10,000+ within the last month alone and also opened the door to a permanent opportunity with a USA agency.
The internet has created a global market for knowledge, skills, and expertise. Information is the real key. Keep researching, keep learning, and understand your field deeply. The knowledge you’re gaining in school might become more valuable and profitable than you currently think.
If you’re still a student, don’t neglect your course while chasing trends online. Master your discipline, stay informed, and learn how to position your knowledge digitally. The right opportunity can come faster than you expect.
If you have a really messy Excel spreadsheet - thousands of rows, tens of columns, a few tabs, text strings - which AI model is best to handle the job?
