What's next?

We will build and test a new governor contract that adds role-based access to the DAO, so only certain addresses will be allowed to open proposals. We will make it so changes to that role can be performed by DAO votes, just so it's not just a small group in control.

An attacker is trying to steal the treasury using fake proposals, and they have voted down a proposal that would mitigate the risk of their actions.

The DAO attacker has simply copied and modified a previous proposal that passed, hoping there wouldn't be any due diligence performed on it and they could vote it through.
