You're only saying that because the bad call worked in your favor. Perhaps if the refs were more consistent with their rulings, this wouldn't have been an issue.
But no, you just want people to shrug it off. Just wait until this season when your team inevitably gets screwed by a bonkers call. I'll be waiting to throw this back in your face.
C'mon, you said the game looks like the Switch 1 can run it. 😉
I think you're just not very interested in the tech side of things, so you're not aware of how demanding certain engines or elements might be.
Now Switch 2 could run it, but chances are this game's been in development for many years, and we know from people like Nate The Hate & Digital Foundry that Nintendo didn't give out large quantities of S2 dev kits to most 3rd parties until after S2 even released.
If this game is built on UE5 or their internal GFD engine (unlike P3R which used UE4), they may need more time to optimize for S2. Metaphor also used the GFD engine & still isn't on S2, so that could be the reason.
I disagree. Nintendo is just as guilty of pumping out the same art style over & over again, only they do it in the opposite direction.
Not everything has to be rainbow diarrhea cartoony overload or anime. That's why I was so happy to see the style they went with for Star Fox, and why Metroid Prime looked so pretty.
I like diversity in art styles. Everything from Expedition 33 to Wind Waker to Halo to F-Zero to Trails in the Sky - all awesome visually.
But when everything looks like Mario or everything looks like Call of Duty, THEN I get burnt out.
@TheDavidVinc -Ocarina of Time Remake
-Fire Emblem release date
-New Xenoblade or Monolith game
-A tease for new F-Zero (because why not give us another arcade racer) 😅
- More boring Switch 2 editions
This list is terrible. Saying that as a Bills fan.
Stafford number 5?
Lamar & Burrow below that?
Caleb & Herbert above everyone aside from Mahomes & Allen?
Of course I can get behind Allen above Mahomes based on the last 3 years of play, but placing them at 1 & 2?
No. Either team success matters so much, then why is Allen ahead of Mahomes? And if individual success & stats matter so much, Stafford should be above basically everyone.
And he disappeared in the postseason just like he did in Buffalo:
Round 1 - 2 rec / 16 yards / 0 TDs
Round 2 - 4 rec / 40 yards / 1 TD
Round 3 - 5 rec / 17 yards / 0 TDs
Super Bowl - 3 rec / 37 yards / 0 TDs
If this was a one time thing, maybe you could overlook it, but it's a Diggs this at this point
THANK YOU! Star Fox 64 is NOT a remake of OG Star Fox on SNES.
Glad some people still know better. Not sure why YouTubers keep saying this, but those are 2 very different games.
Is it because Google AI says it is, so people just accept it at face value?
Definitely not true.
I'm PC only at this point, prefer mouse & keyboard, yet still use a game pad for quite a few games.
It's a lot easier playing many JRPGs (developed primarily targeting consoles) with a controller vs mouse & keyboard.
Games like Expedition 33 were clearly designed with controller in mind. Games like Persona 5 make you fully run everywhere since there's no range in movement offered with analog sticks (other games either give you just run or walk, no in between).
Then you have the lack of any haptic feedback/rumble support, along with just the comfort of kicking back with a small controller in your lap vs leaned over your desk/table on M&K is nice sometimes.
I'll still choose M&K for most games, but most every PC player has a controller too for a reason.
I think you got way too defensive here. They weren't even being mean. They just corrected you. We get that you want to be positive, but that doesn't mean many of these games weren't ports.
If you just meant "new to English audiences" then just say that instead of claiming these aren't ports to PSP.
@FieldYates Remember last time we traded back multiple times in the 1st round until we were out of the round entirely?
That worked out so well. Keon Coleman was totally worth it!
Spoiler alert - User reviews are even less useful than critic reviews.
People today only use reviews for confirmation bias, not actual honest opinions.
Everyone makes up their mind long before a movie or game even releases, and blaming critics is just an easy way to dismiss valid criticism.
If a movie/game review aligns with what people WANT to hear, they'll use Metacritic & RT scores constantly. When they don't say what people WANT to hear, they blame the reviewers, even when they haven't seen/played the thing themselves.
- Critics can only post 1 review each. Users can spam as many reviews as they want.
- User score are often influenced by online campaigns, either to artificially prop something up or tear something down
- Critics at least have to watch/play what they're reviewing, while user scores are filled with people who never experienced these things at all.
So while both have issues, user scores are even less reliable outside of platforms like Steam.
@steamyjamarius@ThighDoctor Grass isn't always greener my friend.
Josh also played poorly against the Broncos, yet we're not saying discard him.
Dion's been a great Buffalo Bill. He's earned the benefit of the doubt. You all are so quick to discard anyone not named Josh Allen.
1) PSSR2 isn't in the same league as DLSS 4.5 though... and that's ok.
The impressive part isn't that PSSR2 is on the same level, it's that AMD & Sony managed to pull that off on RDNA2 console hardware.
2) You can ALWAYS point to the highest end PC prices. Why stop at $1,800 GPUs? What about $4,000 ones? PC's advantage is scalability, being upgradable, and being able to pick & choose your parts.
But if you want a "streamlined package," pre-builts, laptops, or handheld PCs exist. You don't need to spend $1,800 on a GPU that wipes the floor with PS5.
3) PS5 doesn't have FREE monthly games. You guys are always so quick to say "it's not FREE on Game Pass! You're paying for a sub!" which is exactly what you're doing to get your "free" games on PS5.
Meanwhile, PC gamers can get GENUINELY free games, whether it's through Steam or EGS, tons of indies, games you can download straight from the publisher website, etc.
Or you can do what PS gamers do & pay for a sub service, only PC has far more available to them.
4) Yes, console has used physical games, but that's extremely limited at this point. You guys who were so against Game Pass for "not supporting the devs," shouldn't be buying used, as the devs don't get your money that way 😆
But in all seriousness, physical games USED to be the one main advantage of consoles, but that's being quickly discarded. Paying $900 for a PS5 Pro with no disc drive? Completely ridiculous.
@jimmyreu81 I'm not a hockey fan, but as a lifelong Bills fan, it's hard not to root for the Sabres through osmosis. Suddenly, I find myself paying attention to the NHL, which hasn't been the case the last decade+
It's called Toradol.
But I'm sure you're right. He got surgery for no reason. Despite being a QB who runs a lot & takes a lot of hits, he's the only one that never gets hurt just out of pure magic?
Lamar got hurt. Mahomes got hurt. Burrow gets hurt every other year. But Allen? Nah.... he's lying!
