Happy Canadian Thanksgiving weekend to all my Maple Leaf friends! 🍁 🦃
Fuzz made ham, cheddar and broccoli soup. We played Gears and watched Money in the Bank!
Can’t ask for a more blessed life, boys.
Perfect day. 🍁
Made it halfway through Act 2.
Unbelievably good so far. Their environment and lighting team are incredible.
Gunplay is solid. Story is good so far.
Really enjoying it.
this is the part of the convo where you say “yikes this probably isn’t enough to justify the development time/budget”
and reply novelists will hear “I hate this game, everything about it, I hope it fails and everyone who likes it is stupid”
too many emotionally, socially, communicatively inept people on the internet.
Hey! We finally have some analytics for Gears of War: E-Day.
Huh...It's almost as if they aren't on track to make back the staggering amount of capital spent to make the game.
Gears of War: E-Day has sold around 230K copies, according to @alineaanalytics , but there’s more to the story.
>Steam: 168K copies sold, bringing in around $11M
>Xbox: Just 62K copies sold, but nearly $26M in revenue.
>Game Pass: An estimated 1.7M players accessed the game through the subscription.
>Early access: 722K Game Pass subscribers reportedly paid $30 extra to play up to five days early, generating around $21.7M
That means nearly 950K players paid something to play early or buy the game.

What a waste of money, man.
XDefiant
Ghost Recon Frontlines
Division Heartland
Rainbow Six Mobile
The amount of money Ubisoft has wasted in the past 6 years is insane.
There’s no easy way to put it: we have made the difficult decision to sunset Rainbow Six Mobile. The game will remain available until January 15, 2027. The next season will be released as planned next week. https://t.co/qbegNNNoUG
I don’t think Transience is a good metric either. Our devs deserved more money and we needed a bigger team to facilitate that game.
We’re on the other end of the extreme imo. There’s gotta be a middle ground, leaning slightly to the lower end, but yes. The sentiment I agree with
This is the go to talking point for everyone when I talk about player numbers, regardless of context.
I'll see you guys on the next title, because we didn't sink hundreds of millions into this one. You're proving my point without even realizing it.
The industry is failing at large. Mass layoffs, pricing model changes, a very uncertain future for game devs but you all are too emotional to have a discussion about economics and business.
Shut up and just play game.
RESURGENT is currently setting up to apply to a few different Canadian Game Dev Programs at the end of the month.
We're confident that our applications are great and that funding will allow us to onboard a few more members to the team.
Exciting times ahead, boys.

I’ll be stepping away from the CDL for the foreseeable future.
As some of you know, I was very close to my casting partner Joe and his family. Maurisa was one of my best friends. We remained friends, after they divorced, and along the way it became more than that and we started dating.
I understand how unconventional/taboo it is. It’s truly not something I ever foresaw happening.
I hope that one day I’ll be back working on the CDL. If not, it was a hell of a ride, and I appreciate the love over the years. Please continue to show support to Joe, the CDL, and its talent!
