I remember a certain governor in Kogi State who opened us to the war theater we have to today in the State because of the money Buhari was giving those governors that signed open grazing.

It is alleged that in some towns now, especially Kabba/Bunu LGA that there are more Fulanis than the indigenous people and on this note, it would be difficult to trace whatsoever is happening in Bunu land.

Thomas Sankara and Fela Kuti were friends. Fela said people in Europe kept talking to him about how non-corrupt Sankara is. Many said he was too responsible and honest to be an African leader. Fela was devastated when he heard about his murder.

Fela Anikulapo Kuti is the most persecuted musician in history. He was arrested over 200 times and appeared in court 356 times, mostly for criticising the corrupt activities of the Nigerian military regime.

What an extremely idiotic thing to hear from a governorship hopeful.

It should be obvious by now that nobody is coming to save young Nigerian workers; they will have to fight for better opportunities and conditions themselves. Enough said.

What makes it even more enraging is that these same politicians have teenage children living in luxurious, fully paid-for apartments in major cities abroad, while telling young Nigerians to somehow endure the conditions they have helped create.

Purpose without action remains a wish.

Write the vision. Build the plan. Break it into small actions. Then do something every day that moves you towards it.

Sometime in 2016, my family and I were considering relocating. I made enquiries and discovered it would cost about ₦15 million for a family of six.

Haaaa! ₦15 million? 😅

I told my wife, “If we have this kind of money, our yoghurt factory go set be dat!”

That conversation made us revisit our yoghurt dream.

We bought an exercise book and wrote the vision again:

To build one of the foremost yoghurt brands in Nigeria and, eventually, Africa.

Then we broke the dream down:

NAFDAC registration.
Name for the yoghurt
Factory location.
Packaging and label design.
Production process.
Equipment.
Raw materials.
Market research.

Suddenly, we realised something:

We didn't need all the money at once.

Breaking the dream into smaller pieces made the giant look like an ant.

So almost every day, we did something towards it - a phone call, market visit, enquiry, research, sourcing raw materials or meeting someone.

And because we were doing something about the dream, we began to attract favour along the way.

People helped. Information came. Opportunities opened. Resources appeared from places we hadn't anticipated.

That experience taught me:

Sometimes favour meets you on the road, not in your room.

Don't wait until you have everything.

Write the vision.
Break it down.
Start with what you have.
Do something today.

Big dreams are built with small, consistent actions.

In kogi State, there are many SSAs than people who work at the Secretariat, you know what's more funny, many of them don't have access to the governor to advise him but are online to fight their brothers and sisters who are criticizing the governor/government.

Yesterday, I had the honour of celebrating the graduation of 850 young innovators from TechRise Cohort 3. These brilliant minds have completed intensive ICT training and are now equipped to shape Abia’s digital future.

To encourage their excellent performance, I have:

* Approved automatic employment into the State Civil Service for the 19 best-graduating students.
* Directed that all 850 graduands receive ₦100,000 each.
* Gifted them the laptops used during training, now theirs to keep.

Beyond these, I have instructed our ministries to integrate TechRise talents into government ICT projects, ensuring their skills directly improve public service delivery. A special salary structure for ICT professionals in the civil service will also be introduced.

I urge our graduands to remain committed to continuous learning. The greatest reward of the programme is the knowledge and skills they now possess. Use them to build businesses, create innovations, and uplift society—not for harmful purposes.

I am particularly proud of the team that developed a functional drone. We will support them in moving this innovation from concept to commercial reality.

Finally, we are working to establish international-standard ICT certification centres in Abia and expand internet access across the state in partnership with MTN.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our graduands, once again. You are the true architects of our collective future.

This guy hates you, yet you keep showing him love.

Look at everything he engages with. From fake crypto schemes, to politics, to promoting gambling. In almost every way this guy engages with you people, he is either exploiting you, misleading you, or contributing to the things that keep you down.

His music does not raise your consciousness. It does not challenge you to think differently about your circumstances. It does not inspire you to confront the conditions keeping you poor. It simply gives you something to dance to while you forget about the very problems destroying your life.

He makes you dance away your sorrows, while simultaneously participating in the very culture that creates more sorrow for you.

He promotes gambling to people who are already struggling. He involves himself in politics in ways that serve interests that have nothing to do with you. He directly scams you through his fake crypto schemes, while giving you music to make you forget that you are being taken from.

Yet you keep giving your love, money, attention, and influence to people who have repeatedly shown you that they have no interest in your well being.

At some point, you should start asking why the people you love so much have so little interest in whether you actually become better.

No, you are not all correct and I like that I already saw you agreed that two truths can exist because, some opportunities missed can never be reclaimed.

During the era of PMBuhari, where he was paying governors who signed to open grazing, the Chief of staff to Kogi State governor, Edward Onoja, was invited to speak at a lecture in my School.

While talking about the Fulani/Farmers conflict, this man said that, some kings have already agreed to open grazing and would be rewarded with cars.

This statement infuriated me but I didn't ask the questions nor vituperate at his statement for reasons unknown to me but I still regret it today, because the opportunity didn't come no more till now that I'm saying it.

So, your Excellency, Edward Onoja, I hope events happening at Kogi State now, shows how effective your speech and actions of the government you are a part of, was?

The only problem Kogi State had before your principal came to power was armed robbery, now, it brings fear to not only the people staying there but to those passing through the State because they could be kidnapped at anytime.
