@BaseballWRLD_ Breslow has his own issues and should definitely also go, but when the team shows up unprepared at the plate, on the base paths, in the field, and on the mound every year across multiple different roster makeups, the manager should get the boot.
@Foulwermammal@YankeeWRLD True, but at least in my opinion that doesn’t play as much of a factor in it as it might used to have. We just saw deGrom come back from TJ and have a top 30 season.
We disproportionately overvalue the cosmetic shift from +1” HB (arm-side) to -1” HB (glove-side) on cutters—believing that crossing the zero line is where the real value lives.
But strangely, we don’t treat the difference between -1” and -3” with the same urgency or perceived gain.
Going from +1" → -1" feels like success
Going from -1" → -3" feels like... greed? overkill? meh?
This bias—whether conscious or subconscious—is limiting cutter usage for certain arms.
Cincinnati is trying to eliminate the concept of guaranteed money on their rookie contracts.
If future guarantees can be “voided”, they're not guarantees at all
Just because other rookies have agreed to these terms doesn’t make Shemar Stewart the bad guy imo
If you “make” a movie, a song, an essay, an image using AI you actually didn’t make anything. You are not an artist, you are not creative, and whatever the machine churns out has no value and deserves no attention. Even if every single artist loses their job, you’ll never be one.
