Biggles was parodied in a series of skits on Monty Python's Flying Circus.

His full name is James Bigglesworth, but the Brits in the stories all just call him Biggles.

I don’t know why this still slays me EVERY TIME.

Monty Python used the character for jokes a few times, which only made it funnier to me.

I think his nemesis was Luftwaffe's Flicht Hauptmann Franz Richtenkriegg, who was nicknamed 'the Rigg'. Flew a Me BF 109 G if I recall..
