@heychrisfox The intellectual rigor is on you to explain it dipshit. A decision to stay in school has nothing to do with the quality of the education, unless you care to explain the connection genius
@ZayLong@heychrisfox@AlaskanMan2@milkshapes Have you thought about how those systems have affected those cultural shortcomings? Bc if we're thinking about the same "shortcomings," they only exist inside of conditions that have historically been systematically shaped and enforced
@ZayLong@heychrisfox@AlaskanMan2@milkshapes I get what u saying but it's clearly not that simple. As simple as you think littering is how simple they thought black ppl being in servitude was. Trying to keep it surface level is why we have systemic issues in the first place bc simple solutions don't solve complex problems
@ZayLong@heychrisfox@AlaskanMan2@milkshapes If you don't care why ppl don't "just do it" why even participate in discussion about it? "Ppl should do what I think is right" is totalitarian. The fact we're talking about civil rights is THE example of ppl not agreeing on what "right" is, y'all are just tryna be dense atp
@heychrisfox@ZayLong@AlaskanMan2@milkshapes I'm not saying the stats aren't real, I'm saying stats require context and relevance. You can't just drop a stat with education in the name and say it proves a point. If you need that explained then it's no wonder ur in the sunken place
@heychrisfox@ZayLong@AlaskanMan2@milkshapes You saying education is equal is the main thing you said that lets me know your research is limited. You can Google: "how are black schools systemically affected by post civil rights act legislation" for starters.
@heychrisfox@ZayLong@AlaskanMan2@milkshapes No, it's not true of every race. Everybody has challenges, everybody is not systemically targeted. There's never been a policy that said "do not approve loans to asians," but in the 1930s the FHA underwriting manual literally instructed them to deny black Americans.
@heychrisfox@ZayLong@AlaskanMan2@milkshapes I asked you what issues were fixed bc you claimed they mostly all were, you named some, I challenged that by implying there are still systemic issues in everything you claimed. If all you care about is legally proximity to white ppl, then of course you don't see any problems
@heychrisfox@ZayLong@AlaskanMan2@milkshapes To be clear I'm not "anti-desegregation" and I never said anything to suggest that, it was good to delegislate that. I am challenging the notion that ending it was as productive as ppl like you claim. The issue was inequality, that was not "fixed" by ending segregation
@heychrisfox@ZayLong@AlaskanMan2@milkshapes 1.) what I believe doesn't matter, it didn't balance an already generational gap.
2.) it's still an issue despite your ignorance
3.) more ignorance, do some research
@sovenaslime Bc it's not two ppl getting to know each other on equal ground, one person has the advantage of life experience that the other doesn't have yet. You're basically raising them not dating them and if ur sleeping with them at the same time, that's weird.
@KilladeIphia Does it continue after that?? In a game categorized as a first person "shooter," that's wild they got you hanging ppl as a barrier to playing the rest of the game
@ZayLong@EliotNace@heychrisfox@AlaskanMan2@milkshapes It's not like someone sits them down to analyze why they opted to brawl instead of another choice after the fact. And you can't really tell ppl that violence isn't a solution to a problem when that's the exact same tool thats used against them and it's glorified in so many ways
