The campers at the Big Moe Broadcasting Camp got a special surprise this morning when Man of Moeller Matt Ponatoski ’26 stopped by before his big game tonight.
Matt shared what it’s been like navigating the media spotlight as a student-athlete at Moeller and offered valuable advice on handling interviews, building relationships with reporters, and representing yourself with confidence.
He also talked about how the communication skills he’s developed through years of interviews will continue to benefit him at the next level—whether that path leads to the University of Kentucky, Major League Baseball, or beyond.

Congratulations to Jackson Garrett ‘22 on graduating from the United States Air Force Academy with a degree in Research Operations and officially taking the Oath of Office as Second Lieutenant Jackson Garrett.
This milestone marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as Lt. Garrett heads to Columbus Air Force Base in Mississippi to begin flight training. From the halls of Moeller to the skies above, Jackson continues a proud tradition of Men of Moeller answering the call to serve our nation.
We wish him blue skies, safe flights, and continued success as he pursues his dream of becoming an Air Force pilot.

🇺🇸✈️ A Man of Moeller is taking flight.
Congratulations to Michael Antaki ’22 on graduating from the United States Air Force Academy as a Distinguished Graduate, finishing in the top 3% of the Class of 2026.
Michael’s accomplishments are nothing short of remarkable. He earned top cadet honors in his double major of Astronautical Engineering and Applied Physics, while also being recognized as the top student in Eastern Languages, which included his minor in Arabic.
The celebration week culminated with Michael taking the oath of office during his commissioning ceremony, becoming Second Lieutenant Michael Antaki, followed by a memorable graduation ceremony featuring Vice President J.D. Vance and the legendary Thunderbirds flyover.
After a well-earned break, Michael will report to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio to begin training as a Combat Rescue Officer (CRO), one of the most demanding and respected career paths in the U.S. Air Force.
We are incredibly proud of Michael’s leadership, scholarship, service, and commitment to excellence. The future is bright for this Man of Moeller.

Tomorrow marks the return of the SOLD OUT Big Moe Broadcasting Camp, where future broadcasters in grades 5-8 will get a behind-the-scenes look at the exciting world of WMOE Broadcasting.
For four days, campers will learn the ropes of play-by-play, interviews, podcasting, video production, and more—all while creating their own original content and having a blast in the process.
Who knows? The next great Voice of the Crusaders might be walking through the doors tomorrow morning.

Known across the state as the legendary “Voice of the Buckeyes,” Paul has spent decades behind the microphone calling some of the biggest moments in Ohio State athletics. His remarkable broadcasting career, which began right here in Cincinnati, has made him one of the most respected voices in sports.
As the lone broadcaster in the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame’s 2026 induction class, Paul’s recognition is a testament to a lifetime of excellence, professionalism, and passion for the game.
