BUSTED!!!
Attn Governor @HonBago
How can children in Niger State still be learning under a tree in 2026?
At Madaki Primary School in Gbaiko Bosso Estate, Minna, pupils are reportedly learning under a tree, sitting on bare ground, with a blackboard fixed to a dilapidated wall. Even more worrying, the school is reportedly only about 6 kilometres from the Niger State Government House.
This is happening in the state capital, not in a remote community.
It raises serious questions about the government’s priority for public education, especially at a time when Niger State has received over ₦48.3 billion in FAAC allocations.
The wider picture is also troubling. Niger State has one of the highest rates of children out of school in Nigeria, with widely cited NBS data putting the rate for children aged 6–15 at 42.8%. Local officials have also previously cited more than 700,000 out-of-school children in the state.
So what is being done to ensure that children who are already in school have a safe and decent place to learn?
@NigerStateGovt and @NigerStateSUBEB should urgently visit Madaki Primary School and other schools facing similar conditions. Parents and residents deserve to know when these schools will be fixed and what concrete steps are being taken.
Education should be treated as a priority, not an afterthought.
No child should be forced to sit on bare ground under a tree simply because government has failed to provide a basic classroom.
The people of Niger State deserve accountability, transparency and urgent action.
If education is truly a priority, when will these children get a classroom?

@AgbajeFela@PeterObi The same Obiano that later apologized for what he said. Calling his Utterances a political Shenanigans.
I believe you know what to do with the Account details he provided. ✌️😎
@PeterObi Putting all the funds that were tied to specific projects together with the 75 billion that was Saved by his government and you would see that HE,Peter Obi actually saved over 100 billion for the State during his tenure.
Where is Willie Obiano?
Debunking the Phantom Debts and Ecological Loan Fallacy
My attention has been drawn to trending claims by the Anambra State Government that my administration left behind inherited debts, including a ₦2 billion ecological loan, contractor liabilities, and unpaid salaries, gratuities, and pensions. This is completely false.
We systematically liquidated historical gratuities and arrears dating back several years, amounting to over ₦35 billion. At the point of handover, the state owed nothing in salaries, gratuities, or pensions, nor did we owe anything to any contractor for projects duly executed and certified.
The ₦2 billion ecological fund in question was released barely three months before the end of my tenure for the Oko/Umuchiana erosion crisis. Despite pressure to spend the money, I refused, insisting that it should be left for my successor because government is a continuum and the funds were tied to a specific project.
The money was therefore left 100 per cent intact in First Bank, in Account No. 2018779464, with a balance of over ₦2.13 billion.
It is important to stress that funds tied to specific projects or set aside for particular purposes were not even included in the over ₦75 billion in savings we left behind.
If anybody can establish anything to the contrary, I will stop campaigning. -PO
