Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty, who had to be helped off the practice field today, is believed to have sprained his ankle, sources tell @rapsheet and me. The Raiders still are unsure how long he will be out, but it is not considered a long-term injury and the organization is breathing a sigh of relief tonight. Las Vegas Raiders have approximately $45 million to $50 million in remaining salary cap space.

They entered the "legal tampering" period with an NFL-high of roughly $121.7 million after trading Maxx Crosby and releasing Geno Smith. However, the front office was extremely aggressive on Day 1, committing over $70 million in first-year cap hits (estimated) to a flurry of new signings and retentions.
