@PresbyXian In Draper is Corner Canyon Church (PCA). Functionally much more evangelical. Very low liturgy, contemporary worship, but still has sound preaching. Jordan Valley Church (PCA) is the next closest option. A lot more of a Presbyterian feel. Really solid church.

Apparently the only thing that matters to God is a semantic legal contract? That is the most absurd legalism. Completely empty and meaningless.

This is the exact "ignoring of the heart" I just wrote about secular society promoting. Whereas the Scriptures insist the heart is most important.

But I believe with Scripture the Beattitudes, and the Psalmist who says "a heart that is broken and humble God will not despise", and Hosea who says God desires mercy, not sacrifice.

But they think God's own Son as sacrifice is the only thing that matters, a blood ritual. Moloch. Totally legalistic, anti heart, anti relational mindset. Make God totally legalistic so that I don't have to do anything.

This is not the same God as the Scriptures testify to. This is a narcissist lawyer's "salvation."
