These comments from Nigerians on the continent is why I don’t feel safe interacting with yall as the years go by.
Other African countries are suffering too. Yet it’s only you guys who give into your worst impulses and reject any form of political consciousness.
Asia holds 60% of world’s population but South Africa alone has more people living with HIV/AIDS than the entire Asian content.
It’s against our morals to disturb the sick!
If I'm ever in a position of power, heaven knows i will put private universities owned by religious institutions on a very short leash.
This extreme intolerance for free expression and basic civil rights has to stop
Who remembered when Buhari was on his regular medical leave outside the country and Osinbajo took over for like a month and there was illumination in the country?
Stop asking what another person woud do differently if they were president. It makes you look foolish.
I'm now 31. I can't work as a graduate trainee in most banks or Fintech in Nigeria due to age.
Their criteria is always;
> below 27
> NYSC certificate
>2.1
> atleasg 1yr experience
But if I manage to stay alive till 75yrs, when my brain cells will need more sleep then I'll be more than qualified to be the president of Nigeria that will determine the existence of any bank or industry in the country.
A single Policy made by President Tinubu on May 29th 2023 threw over 30million people below poverty line.
He doesn't have a first class.
He didn't go to any university.
He's not young.
But he's qualified to rule Nigeria because the criteria to rule Nigerians is to be dubious and incompetent.
Make it make sense
We designed a system to have the best in Private sectors and the worst in Politics running the Affairs of the entire nation.
Judicious in Micro economics but dastardly stupid in macroeconomic conditions.
So many abnormalities are happening in this country.
Minimum wage is 70k, but a passport costs 250k.
Minimum wage is 70k, but a local flight can cost 100k.
Minimum wage is 70k, but a driver’s licence costs 45k.
A year’s minimum wage is 840k, yet a room self-contained in central mainland can cost 1 million annually.
Minimum wage is 70k, but transportation to work alone can cost 30k a month.
Do we really have a government?
I’ve noticed something interesting, a lot of the people I see supporting Peter Obi who aren’t from his tribe are responsible, hardworking, smart, doing well for themselves, and honestly, very good-looking too.
Am I the only one noticing this, or are you guys seeing it too?
I hate how this country is making my relationship with God transactional. Give me give me give me like banbiala. God let them bring light, God let this network be good. Low quality problems. Rubbish!!
Debunking the Phantom Debts and Ecological Loan Fallacy
My attention has been drawn to trending claims by the Anambra State Government that my administration left behind inherited debts, including a ₦2 billion ecological loan, contractor liabilities, and unpaid salaries, gratuities, and pensions. This is completely false.
We systematically liquidated historical gratuities and arrears dating back several years, amounting to over ₦35 billion. At the point of handover, the state owed nothing in salaries, gratuities, or pensions, nor did we owe anything to any contractor for projects duly executed and certified.
The ₦2 billion ecological fund in question was released barely three months before the end of my tenure for the Oko/Umuchiana erosion crisis. Despite pressure to spend the money, I refused, insisting that it should be left for my successor because government is a continuum and the funds were tied to a specific project.
The money was therefore left 100 per cent intact in First Bank, in Account No. 2018779464, with a balance of over ₦2.13 billion.
It is important to stress that funds tied to specific projects or set aside for particular purposes were not even included in the over ₦75 billion in savings we left behind.
If anybody can establish anything to the contrary, I will stop campaigning. -PO
Someone once told me that fear of heights is not really the fear of falling but the fear that the irrational urge to throw yourself over the edge will become irresistible. True in my experience
I really hate how you guys describe romance as something you just sit down and experience happening to you and not something you're actively participating in.
