Last but not least, join us in welcoming @daydreamernessa as our final Halloween Cosplay Contest judge! 👻

Daydreamernessa is a cosplayer who holds a BFA in fashion design and presently works in the video game industry, supporting games many know and love! Before her career shift, Nessa honed her skills under the textile and production side of the fashion industry.

These days, as a longtime cosplayer who is now a mom, she finds immense joy in stitching together costumes for her son (though he does test the limits of the construction quality). A lot of care goes into sewing, engineering, and rigging her son’s cosplays. She ensures each one can be worn safely, withstanding running, jumping (sometimes crashing and falling too). And most importantly, make it slightly big enough for him to grow into and wear for more than a month!

Komickrazi Studios is an award winning cosplayer and professional costume maker from Canada. Originally a comic artist, she began making costumes in 2001 and transitioned to a full time costume maker in 2009. Her costume creations consist of cosplay from pop culture, and musical theatre, as well as a range of original design Fursuits and puppets.

She has competed internationally in a variety of costume competitions and won several awards for her works. She is active in the furry and costume community, and runs panels and workshops on a range of topics from running a business, to costume construction and performance.

Join us in welcoming our first Halloween Cosplay Contest judge @tafkardesign

TAFKAR Design is a Georgia raised civil engineer/construction management professional by day and in his spare time a cosplayer with a total seven years of experience. He is an HBCU graduate of Savannah State University, who used his cosplay experience as a PML makerspace attendant.

Currently, he travels the country as a special guest, cosplay judging or competing in cosplay contests. His first win came as Blerdcon's 2023 Black Cosplayer of the Year. When he isn't crafting for competitions, he operates a small business with commission services and tutorials based on some of his favorite fandoms.
