Pooja Kumari Jha, a diplomat with the Indian High Commission in Bangladesh, formally objected to a map shown at a seminar in Dhaka.

The map presented by a former Bangladesh High Commissioner incorrectly depicted Jammu and Kashmir as part of Pakistan.

Jha interrupted the presentation to state that the map was factually incorrect and reiterated that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral and inalienable part of India.

The presenter clarified that the map used was for representational purposes and not intended to project actual boundaries.

कभी पर्दे के पीछे रहकर रणनीति बनाने वाला व्यक्ति जब खुद मंच पर उतरता है, तो कहानी बदल जाती है।

Prashant Kishor ने वर्षों तक कई राजनीतिक दलों के लिए चुनावी रणनीतियाँ तैयार कीं। उनके काम ने उन्हें देश के सबसे चर्चित राजनीतिक रणनीतिकारों में शामिल कर दिया। स्वाभाविक था कि लोगों को लगने लगा कि जो दूसरों को जीत की राह दिखा सकता है, वह अपने राज्य बिहार की चुनावी राजनीति में सफल होगा!

कुछ समय पहले तक हर तरफ एक ही सवाल था- "Prashant Kishor खुद चुनाव क्यों नहीं लड़ते?" लोग मानते थे कि जो कई दलों को चुनाव जिताने की रणनीति बना सकता है, उसे खुद भी मैदान में उतरना चाहिए।

पिछले विधानसभा चुनाव में उनकी पार्टी को अपेक्षित सफलता नहीं मिली। तब उन्होंने कहा था- "या तो अर्श पर रहेंगे, या फिर फर्श पर।" बहुतों को उम्मीद थी कि वे उसी चुनाव में किसी विधानसभा सीट से उम्मीदवार बनेंगे, लेकिन उन्होंने बताया कि पार्टी चाहती है कि वे पूरे राज्य में उम्मीदवारों को जिताने की जिम्मेदारी निभाएँ।

अब परिस्थितियाँ बदली हैं। उपचुनाव में, भाजपा की मजबूत मानी जाने वाली सीट पर जन सुराज की ओर से खुद चुनाव लड़ने का फैसला किया है।

दिलचस्प बात यह है कि जब वे चुनाव नहीं लड़ रहे थे, तो लोग कहते थे- "उन्हें मैदान में उतरना चाहिए।" और अब जब वे उतर गए हैं, तो उसी इंटरनेट पर उनकी संभावित हार की भविष्यवाणियाँ होने लगी हैं।

इंटरनेट माहौल बना सकता है, लेकिन अंतिम निर्णय हमेशा मतदाता करता है।
इस चुनाव का नतीजा क्या होगा, यह भविष्य बताएगा। लेकिन इतना तय है कि किसी रणनीतिकार का स्वयं चुनाव लड़ना, राजनीति की सबसे कठिन परीक्षा होती है- जहाँ रणनीति से अधिक जनता का विश्वास मायने रखता है।
