Bj

I am student.

[Abhijeet Dipke @abhijeet_dipke]

I had requested to let me speak to my cousin who lives with my grandmother. Asked for my phone just for a couple of minutes so I could at least take out the number of my cousin.

Why Delhi Police didn’t let me use my phone? I had also asked for a call with lawyer which was again denied.

At 3:30 in the morning, Delhi Police asks me to call my father and inform him that tomorrow I’ll be going in jail for a long time. The same father who has just lost his mother. How much more trauma did you want to put my family through after we already lost my grandmother?

What was the purpose of trying to call my parents at f-ing 3:30 in the morning? You wanted to torment them?

Heading back to my village to be with my family during this moment of grief.

Saurav and Ashu will address a press conference shortly in Delhi.

The CJP will neither back down nor be intimidated.

October 10 will go down as the beginning of the end of this dictatorship.

Modi, as PM, is an embarrassment to India.

Never has this country seen a bigger coward and bully.

#India: We are concerned by reports of mass detentions of demonstrators, protest leaders, members of civil society organisations, lawyers and journalists, before and during today’s large-scale demonstrations in Delhi.

We call on the authorities to ensure that the right to peaceful assembly is fully respected and fulfilled.

[Cockroach Janta Party - CJP @Cockroachisback]

We are stunned by the heartless Delhi Police playing such petty politics around the personal tragedy that @abhijeet_dipke and his family has suffered.

No one from Abhijeet Dipke’s family or CJP lawyers have been informed about his whereabouts.

We remain extremely concerned about the safety of the three CJP leaders. Instead of leaking such information to the press, Delhi Police should allow Abhijeet’s family and lawyers to speak with him and release him IMMEDIATELY.

It is appalling that Modi-Shah are treating the country’s youth with such contempt.

Peaceful protests is a democratic activity. Last time I heard India was a democratic country.

🚨 ILLEGAL DETENTION!

CJP legal affairs head @whattalawyer is being held inside a car, surrounded by 35 cops and the DCP, who are refusing to let her out.
They are moving to the CMM Court.

[Ashutosh Ranka @AshutoshRanka]

Dear @JPNadda @DrJitendraSingh ji,

We are observing a complete breach of the agreement regarding no police action against the protestors. Hundreds of students have been arrested in Bihar and Bengal, and hundreds are being surveilled/harrassed in Delhi and other states. Multiple reports are emerging in Delhi around detention of volunteers supporting protestors with logistics.

We demand that all the FIRs against the protestors be immediately withdrawn, students be released and no future FIRs be filed (in line with our agreement) by Delhi police / Central investigative agencies / Police in BJP-allied states, FAILING WHICH WE WILL BE FORCED TO SIT ON PROTEST AGAIN.

We also demand that the written agreement around legal cases be shared with us by tomorrow, the aligned timelines with the Government of India.

[Preity G Zinta @realpreityzinta]

I hope our govt starts a meaningful dialogue with Sonam Wangchuk and the student bodies so his health does not deteriorate any further ! Please end your fast Sonam. Your health is as important as this fight. You and the students are fighting for the future of India and for our youth. My heartfelt & unwavering support to every student & to Sonam in this fight to uplift & upgrade our educational system . More power to all of you. Jai Hind 🇳

Peaceful protest is a sacred and fundamental right.

Every police officer and govt official blindly following orders to attack India’s innocent students should keep in mind:

The Constitution is your master.
Power is not permanent.
Accountability will follow.
