@adverteasement@torontomike Have you seen the condition of the right part of lane? I'm not riding over drains or garbage or sketchy surface or getting doored.
Drivers try to squeeze by when they don't have the required meter.
Yup.. take the lane when safety dictates which is often.
So @citywaterloo The street trees in Old Lakeshore are getting more dangerous. Hit in the face with a branch less than an inch from my eyes. It is dark early and street lights do not light up sidewalk. I know the city has a lot of canopy but can we make sure sidewalks are safe?
Fellow Ontario tax payers - please like and retweet if you would rather $3.2 Billion be invested in public services, like education, healthcare, ODSP, support for autism families, than be dolled out in one-time $200 pre-election bribes by Doug Ford. #onpoli#onted#cdpoli
I think @citywaterloo should get rid of roadside leaf pickup. People are already piling leaves into bike lanes and roadways a month before pickup starts. Bag them, if you must, and extend yard waste pickup a few weeks.
1. Cars need to treat bikes like a vehicle. Don't pass me to turn right... I'm going faster than you think. Just wait a moment behind me.
2. Turn on your headlights ... raining, foggy, snowing and dusk and dawn. Can't see you from behind without taillights.
Hey @citywaterloo .. getting hazardous to walk on sidewalks in old Lakeshore due to low tree branches. These are boulevard trees and residents not suppose to touch them. More than 200 cm would be good clearance.
So @RegionWaterloo ...Do we still have garbage limits? I see all garbage getting picked up no matter how much is put out so was wondering if they were still in place.
