Perhaps I'm a total nerd but I've been making Senate/Gov/House predictions since early last year. Here's where I think the state of the races stand going into September. It should be noted that I force myself into being a doomer so that I don't get my hopes up.

@NewsWire_US As much as he deserves to get impeached again, its absolutely useless to bring up impeachment. Democrats do not have the votes in the senate and a failed impeachment will only energize republican voters who will send more $$$ to the GOP

@rhinestoneeye21 My job does money transfers/orders/bill pay and its crazy how obsessed old people are with getting scammed. Theyll lie right to your face about what the money is for then the next day theyll get pissed when you dont stop their transaction cause it was a scam

@TosunErdal3 @Ericrse37986 You're using CookPVI, which isn't the same as actual partisan lean. Rather, it means that the distrixt is 9 points more republican than the nation as a whole using 2020/24 presidental results. Tn-09 is actually R+21 looking at the 2024 election results.

@MrSHRock @eternallyRaq Anyone who told you that Crockett was drawn out of her district lied to you. She was moved from the 30th to 33rd, both districts are solidly Democtatic. Crockett was the only Dem from DFW NOT to be drawn into a solidly Republican district!

@YappJenkins @coachchetmanley @LoneStar_PAC Crockett was moved from the 33rd to 30th district. Both of which are solidly democratic and voted for Harris by double digits. She was not drawn out and could have ran for either seat.

Local politics are so interesting. Local councilman won the Dem party unopposed in June & faced no challenge from the republican party, but i guess him and the retiring mayor had a falling out cause now my mayor is running for reelection as an independent (fmr dem)

@njgypsyg The current district was Harris+8.7. The one I drew is Harris+12.1 (Sherrill+15.3). The new democratic additions in Essex outweigh Republicans gains in Sussex

New Jersey could be one of the next Democratic states to gerrymander for 2028. NJ only has 3 Republicans, although Kean (R-Westfield) could lose in '26. Watson-Coleman (D-Trenton) is retiring as well. Assuming Hamaway (NJ12)& Bennett (NJ07) win, heres my quickly made proposal map

@electionsjoe I dont think DRA has incumbents homes as public info. I The best way for me is finding their hometown through Wikipedia & using landmarks to label their homes. You can also find cities of candidates on their campaign websites, typically at the bottom.
