@PhxntomHaunt Because they’re two horror movies that came out at the same time from two incredibly young directors???
God people are so fucking stupid now. Obviously they’re going to be compared and linked to each other for years.
@joe32116037@rawrrx_d Can you guys not appreciate the first 2/3rds though? Like I understand the third act was bad. It was bad.
But does that completely negate everything else for you?
Idk man, 20 year old director did that shit. I’m impressed.
@ottiebear Nothing. It’s claustrophobic and never ending. The world built inside those walls is something to explore! It’s very neat.
The third act falls short like a lot of these mystery box films do and I think that’s fine for a first time director who didn’t write the story.
@ottiebear So I assume you’re rage baiting? Or something? It’s very easy to understand the things Backrooms does well and the things it did poorly.
The writing and characters are thin. But when you’re inside those yellow walls you’re just pulled into this labyrinth of everything and
@arttavana Did you see Backrooms? Or Obsession? Assuming these are the two movies you’re referencing.
I didn’t love Obsession but it’s infinity more interesting than anything marvel has done in 8~ years. As is Backrooms.
Incredibly bad take and you are stupid for making it.
@KevinOConnor No way!!! Is it suspicious Kevin? Top notch analytical work there Kevin idk how I would’ve known it was suspicious without you telling me that. God you’re such a fucking idiot.
