Hello @WaruhiuFranklin. Everytime there is material news such as financial statement announcement, the trading portal issues notification of lifting of price limits (usually 10%). However, when I open the order window, there is stilla limit imposed. Am I missing something? Thanks
@MwangoCapital Share price currently at KES 30.50 and been climbing steadily since the announcement. Any prospects of meeting the subscription price of 48.42 or simply breaking the KES 30 resistance?
Finance & Planning Committee has finally tabled the much awaited report on Finance Bill 2023 with a raft of proposed changes.
Here's a 🧵 on some of the key changes that have been proposed & some key questions I think emerge around Treasury's position on taxation in Kenya
Finally!!
Starting next month the process of onboarding for a CDS/Portfolio Account for T-bills & T-bonds investment will be done without having to physically present oneself at CBK (& we haven't even mentioned the trip to your bank thereafter).
This is long overdue
So perhaps the withholding of a final dividend, despite 7-year record profits is justified. Winter is coming.

Tea, dollars and Pakistan
In the previous year, 40% of @sasinikenya's profits came from the avocado and macadamia businesses they had launched just 3 years prior. Sasini is 70 years old and has been, for the majority of its existence, a key player in
struggling to stabilize its currency. Consequently, tea is getting very expensive for both buyers. With menacingly high inflation in Europe, macadamia nuts, already a luxury, are bordering the unaffordable.
14. KTDA has disbursed KES 5.5B as payment to their smallholder tea farmers for the December 2022 green leaf deliveries, inclusive of mini-bonuses for the half year ending December 31st, 2022.

@MwangoCapital 5 mins for 5 donuts = 1 min for 1 donut.
5 machines make 1 donut in 1 min = productivity of 1 donut per min for the 5 machines.
If no. of machines multiplied by 20, productivity per min of machines also increases by 20 = 100 machines for 20 donuts per min = 5 mins for 100 donuts.
