The Good: Provisions were pushed in the current bill to expand markets for local farmers to make their farms fresh produce more accessible to the public

A positive outcome of the 2018 bill was additional funding went towards Environmental Quality Incentive Programs. It also put more money into Agricultural Conservation Easement Programs. #agriculture

The farm bill was projected to cost approximately $428 billion over 5 years until 2023, but where is all this money going to? Not small farmers! #fixthefarmbill

The new bill has many loopholes for larger production farms to exploit commodity and crop insurance subsidies, action is needed to make our senators aware to help smaller farmers instead on the future bill. #protectfarmers

The farm bill has placed requirements to be followed to receive standard WICK or SNAP assistance, this is good to regulate whether someone is eligible for the assistance. #TheFarmBill
