@nwilborn19 Better-Announce a substitution one minute in...gong hits over the PA...Balogun comes to the pitch in a long coat and black hat doing the Undertaker slow walk as the crowd goes berserk. Works every time.
In 2003, THE SIMPSONS cast appeared on Inside The Actors Studio and answered host James Lipton's questions in the voice of all of the iconic characters 😂
I attempted to edit down the segment but it was all just too good so here it is in its entirety.
The 1977 CBS NFL Today intro is fucking spectacular. The plays get progressively more illegal and fucked up to the point I was half expecting some guy to get eaten by a lion on the field. It’s like a Naked Gun bit. Do yourself a favor and watch this.
"The Honeymooners" - where big dreams were born in tiny Brooklyn apartments and friendship could survive any scheme - though sometimes put to the test as in this classic bit from "Better Living Through TV"..as our pals appear on live TV to hawk a "miracle" kitchen gadget.
The fact that “Baba O’Reilly” was created by a simple switch on an analog organ is just so fucking cool.
always assumed it was a synth patch. Human creativity and analog gear will always remain undefeated
This is a typical BUDDY ROGERS match, with the subtle cheating and prancing until the finish, when HAYSTACKS CALHOUN gets involved for an explosive ending. Rogers won the NWA US Championship he is defending here on April 20, 1960. The title was vacated on June 30, 1961 when Rogers defeated Pat O'Connor for the NWA World belt in Chicago. Rogers' manager, BOBBY DAVIS, was my favorite manager when I was a kid, along with WILD RED BERRY. The end of this video shows how well Rogers and Davis worked together when all hell breaks loose.
37 years ago we lost the great Gilda Radner.
On that day, Steve Martin was hosting the #SNL S14 finale. In his monologue, he & the show pay tribute to Gilda's passing with one of her classic sketches.
G.E. Smith (her 1st husband) leads the band out to commercial.
RIP Gilda.
@Gibboanxious It's been 33 years since I took my girl out to watch the last episode. Then she saw me sniffing at the end and decided that I wasn't the guy and never dated me again. Then I met my future wife of 30 yrs who understood I was just a softie & made her happy. RIP Suzie. I will find U
50 years ago today, Madeline Kahn hosted SNL.
Gilda as Baba Wawa, interviews Madeline as Marlene Dietrich.
And neither understands what they are saying. 😂
