@vikingterritory This should be breaking news. I had not heard that Kyler had been named the starter? Also, if he is only the 18th best, why not develop your young QB instead of wasting a year of his rookie deal. JJ will be very good and soon if given time. SKOL!!
@MatthewColler@YouTube If the Vegas odd are 8.5 wins with Kyler and 7.5 with JJ, it is a no brainer to let the kid play, make mistakes and continue to grow. For me, JJ has the much higher ceiling. Just my opinion, SKOL!!
@MatthewColler@YouTube I 100% agree that Kyler is not the long-term answer and I disagree with Nate Tice that if Kyler has his 3rd or 4th best season ever, it'll be on par w/Sam in 2024. Kyler has never been close to those numbers and never will be. Patience with JJ and let him develop is the answer.
@SleeperVikings@Nate_Tice@YahooSports No freaking way. Even in his best season, Kyler has never put up the numbers Sam did in 2024. If you let JJ develop, he will but Kyler never will.
@thorku I fail to see how this reflects poorly on KO. She said she was on the phone with Daboll and then shows a text chain that she had with KO, probably has one with every coach. Seems like a good dude and hopefully he and JJ have a long and prosperous relationship of winning, soon.
@TPPSkol He's never thrown for 4,000 yds & his best TD total is 26. His best year was his 2nd year, and in the 5 years since he's not come close and he's missed 30 games due to injury. Also, he's struggling with the playbook and he is not a fit for this offense as he is not a pocket guy.
@MIvikesfan@DBAR_67_@happyjoelucky Yeah, Sam had it bad at times too, but he was an experienced veteran QB. That is an advantage that K1 will have too. I'm a 50 yr Viking fan & I'm hoping they ride the young guy and let him grow and develop & then hopefully, we have an 8-10 yr stretch of sustained success.
@DBAR_67_@JJMcGLAZER@MIvikesfan@happyjoelucky Wow, getting personal again. You boys are all class, and your opinions show why your thoughts on this scenario are off base. Don’t give up, so day you’ll get dates and move out of mommy’s basement, we’ll probably not. SKOL friends!!
@MIvikesfan@DBAR_67_@happyjoelucky Sorry I don’t get the Kyler love. 38-48 record no playoffs wins in his career despite being a franchise changing #1 overall pick. You want to hang your hat on him rather than a 23 yr old with nothing but potential in front of him if supported properly. Dude is already crying.
@MIvikesfan@DBAR_67_@happyjoelucky 100% agree, Wentz was good. Too bad he was injured & played w/a beat up OL. We have to let JJ play & grow. I don’t see a SB this year but if we let him grow then we’ll have a consistent shot year after year. If K1 is good, he’ll want $60 mil & we’re screwed with an oft injured QB
@DBAR_67_@happyjoelucky Do you view every first year player in this light? They have to play to develop. Josh Allen, Burrow and Stafford combined won 9 games in their first year. JJ had more wins than any of them. He may not put up the big stats for a few years, but he wins. I just don’t get the JJ hate
