@space_woke@AlexBerenson@DKThomp If vaccinations start in places where cases are already rising (true), and if initial vaccination efforts are focused on high-risk populations (true), then the “spikes” you and Alex are talking about (a) are not surprising, and (b) say nothing about vaccine safety/efficacy.
@AlexBerenson@DKThomp You ignore the key point raised in the article - vaccination campaigns have often begun in the midst of increasing cases, and have targeted those at most risk.
@AlexBerenson@fuckyeah_c@DKThomp Exactly. In the first graph, green is Germany. Which has been slower to vaccinate. And which has seen an increase in cases.
Just take the L, corn cob.
@AlexBerenson@DKThomp Wait, what?
You post a chart showing sharp declines in Israel and the UK (robust vaccination campaigns), and increases in Germany and Canada (not as robust)....and you think that proves YOUR point?
What’s that saying again? Lies, damn lies and Berenson’s misuse of statistics?
@AlexBerenson@DKThomp The clinical trials had a significantly older age profile than the population as a whole, and a greater incidence of comorbidities.
Your suggestion that there was some kind of effort to “ignore” at risk population is laughable.
@AlexBerenson Trying to use VAERS data to determine the side effect profile of the vaccines (and then, later in the thread, claiming that said side effect profile is “known,” as compared to the “unknown” efficacy)?
@AlexBerenson So this guy thinks that a decline in median age of COVID deaths is the result of vaccine deaths being secretly classified as COVID deaths?
And you’re passing this along as credible info?
@AlexBerenson Percentage of what?
All side effects? Sure, you’re probably right (though, as you note, everyone’s just guessing). I doubt more than 20% of people with sore arms are reporting to VAERS.
Percentage of deaths/hospitalizations? Much larger. I’d guess close to 100%
@AlexBerenson@CDCgov@generaldynamics That’s right - the CDC is actively following up and soliciting VAERS reports re: COVID vaccines. That’s not typical - it’s otherwise a passive system.
Worth keeping in mind when comparing rates of reported adverse events between COVID vaccines and others.
@AlexBerenson@CDCgov@generaldynamics Hold on a sec. That job posting refers to something called the “V-Safe Program.” What’s that, you ask? Let’s take a look.....
