The narrative machine among establishment hacks has already begun to gear up for November 4, and the argument will be that the Right needs to return to a more "respectable" form of politics that existed before 2015.

They will argue that MAGA has alienated the electorate with its "racism", its embrace of "identity politics", and rejection of "free markets" and "meritocracy".

And their solution will be to revert the GOP back to 2012, while marketing it as a return to "Reaganite Republicanism" or some other euphemism that papers over what they're actually trying to do, which is crush the populist revolt that has taken over what was previously a containment vehicle for Right-wing politics.

The irony, of course, is that these people have never been team players and actively try to sabotage the GOP the moment they're no longer in charge. Establishment RINOs spent generations expecting total loyalty from the conservative side of the electorate while consistently stabbing their own base in the back.

And now that their own base has shown them the door, they actively try to help Democrats in the hope that triggering a massive loss will create an opening to sweep themselves back into power in 2028.

"I do not want foreign governments, foreign officials, foreign courts having anything to do with how we enforce criminal laws here in the state of Texas."
