The Senate went into a five week recess early this morning.

The performative theater about voting to stay in session to pass the Save America Act was just that....performative.

Now they will be holding pro-forma sessions to prevent President Trump from making recess appointments

Nearly two full years of a Senate majority… and still no serious, clean election integrity bill across the finish line.

No universal voter ID.

No real citizenship verification.

No hardening of the process against the same vulnerabilities everyone saw.

At some point “we don’t have the votes” stops being an excuse and starts looking like a choice.
