@afneil I’ve never wanted a government to fail, they are our government, but I now see a government that seems determined to fail! Starmer says the city needs stability with R Reeves but they fear any replacement more. Hardly an endorsement. A shugguly peg with no coat to hang on it .

@lincslincs In the last 2 years the value of the state pension against a minimum wage job has reduced by around 1% even with the triple lock, making this a double lock would make no difference so it will not happen. Reducing public sector pensions to 6% employer contributions would save £22b
