@SenatorMorrison Will it only apply to "Fully Insured Plans"? The majority of insurance plans seem to be
"self-funded". ie).the bill requiring insurance to cover medically necessary Hearing Aids for kids was great, but Partial plans didn't apply...not helpful for most families. @JBPritzker

@jimdurkin82 @SenJohnCurran @BCBSIL @SenatorMorrison @JBPritzker the EBC(Educational Benefit Corroborative) is a self funded plan covering IL Public School teachers. It's administered by @BCBSIL. The EBC would rather have a teacher pay 8K out of pocket for her kid's hearing aids than add it as a line item.Thoughts?

An Educational Benefits Cooperative not supporting a child’s learning in the classroom. #hearingloss I’ve come up with 96 reasons why the policy is hypocritical. Time to put this campaign into hyperdrive? @BCBSIL - educate the educators you advise. Think of the kids not the $$$
