18 year-old Man City goalkeeper Oliver Whatmuff made two penalty shootout saves to help promote Rochdale to the EFL - he also kept 18 clean sheets in the 38 league appearances he made.🤯🧤

Those two penalty saves came in today’s National League playoff final against Boreham Wood. ✨

Whatmuff was at Rochdale on a season-long loan from Manchester City.✅

In total, the young goalkeeper conceded just 35 goals all season.🧼

Certainly not a bad way for Whatmuff to kick off his senior career.😂👏

On Thursday 26 February, we celebrated 23 new firefighters completing their initial training and welcomed them into our Service at our first Pass Out Parade of 2026! 🚒

Held at our Training and Safety Centre in Bury, family and friends joined us to celebrate, watching with pride as their loved ones showcased their knowledge and skills in practical demonstrations and received their certificates -marking the successful completion of their initial operational training.👏 🎉

These individuals will now be posted to fire stations across Greater Manchester where they will continue their training until they become fully qualified firefighters.

Congratulations to all and welcome to #TeamGMFRS!
