You might be right. Mateer hasn’t been same player since thumb fracture. I just contend the grind of the SEC should count for something. South Carolina probably has 6 to 9 NFL players in their starting 22 and are near the bottom of the league

Plus they would get an FCS school in the middle of November. 11-1 locked and loaded. Also SEC is mostly mid. And you know it.
