I have said it before, and I will say it again: our civil service is one of the biggest problems holding Nigeria back.

What the Jigawa State Governor recently discovered during his inspection of the state secretariat—finding that many civil servants were absent from work during official hours—shows why we need serious reforms.

Many of them have become too comfortable because they believe their jobs are guaranteed, whether they perform or not.

The day civil servants understand that accountability matters and that they can lose their jobs for consistently failing to do what they were employed to do, that is the day our civil service will begin to improve.

A better Nigeria starts with accountability at every level.

Justice can never be cracked.

Whoever thought Seun that mentioning Obi always, even when it is not necessary, will be his best clickbait to drag traffic to Channels, must have messed up with his professional skills.

You invited Kwankwaso to discuss issues disturbing Nigeria, and 90 percent of the questions were dominated by Obi this, Obi that.

This is the same thing Seun keeps doing even when he invites other candidates who are not even interested in discussing Obi. He must look for a way to drag them into the conversation.

I could remember when Orji Uzor Kalu insisted that he was not at Channels to discuss Obi, but his party and how Seun pressured him to talk about Obi.

The one that baffles me is the fact that Seun takes the assumptions of his guests hook, line and sinker without confronting them with facts.

Oshiomhole made a false statement that Obi brought Bakassi. Seun could not confront him with facts. Ali Modu Sheriff also went and made false assumptions, and it was the same thing.

I know he might be making enough money for his employers, but this is the highest form of unprofessionalism.

Dear Nigerians,

Please pay attention and plan ahead for the coming elections.

One thing that should concern every voter is the election date. Holding the election on 16th January could make it more difficult for many Nigerians to vote, as a lot of people may still be away from their usual place of residence after the festive season.

Whether intentional or not, anything that makes it harder for eligible Nigerians to vote should concern all of us.

My advice is simple: make sure your polling unit is in the location where you will be on election day. If you intend to travel during the holidays, plan your return early so you can exercise your right to vote.

Don’t allow logistics or poor planning to stop you from participating in the election.

Your PVC is your power. Your vote is your voice.

Justice can never be cracked.
