Had a good one-on-one meeting with @KerryLynneFindl
Thank you, Kerry, for your time.
I’m excited for the future of the BC Conservative Party and moving forward with purpose alongside you. Let’s get to work.
Read and weep.I was MP here when he killed 3 precious children. Then he proved he had a conscience and cognitive ability by evading capture for 10 days. Now he goes free. Even the shrinks say he is still a risk. So he gets 6 years per murder. We are sick. https://t.co/zTMT2OxQD7
@elenoresturko@KarenFBill I’m saddened by this emotional tweet. You haven’t given her a chance. Be part of the solution. That’s what Surrey/Cloverdale wants.
Conservatives have a ton of work to do to win the next election.
We can take today to come off of our highs or get back on our feet after our lows and then the boring but necessary grind begins.
The next election won't be won without doing the work.
The general public doesn't care about what shade of blue we are or who's mad at whom or what could have been.
They care about who can fix the problems that plague us all.
So celebrate or lick your wounds today and move on.
BC is counting on you.
Hamish Telford, an associate professor of political science at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), says that Findlay’s election does not represent a “consensus choice.” https://t.co/zKiIuI6Uik
Elliot is a wonderful, young, smart & formidable candidate @NVanCaroline was an absolute class act in defeat—a hallmark of leadership. It will be easy for her to shed the surrounding political baggage. She has a bright future in BC politics & in a @KerryLynneFindl Cabinet.
Caroline Elliot reacts to Conservative Party of B.C. leadership result. Does not rule out running as an MLA candidate in future. @NVanCaroline@Conservative_BC
The BC NDP would be foolish to underestimate Kerry-Lynne Findlay.
She’s an unapologetic pugilist of a politician who can effectively tap into the overwhelming frustrations of British Columbians; the opposite of Kevin Falcon with significantly more punch than John Rustad.
Money can’t buy love….and apparently not the BC Conservative Leadership! KLF stood up to bullies with grit and grace and her hard work paid off. She will be an incredible Premier when that time comes!
Congratulations to @KerryLynneFindl, the next Premier of BC.
She won as a principled Conservative fighting for property rights, low taxes, small government, free enterprise, and getting tough on crime.
I want to thank all the candidates who put their names forward in this race.
Let’s now work together to make Canada affordable, safe, and united here at home.
The @Conservative_BC leadership race is a family tug-of-war, not a civil war.
The minute our new leader is announced, we are all on the same page.
The real contest is not between leadership candidates.
It is between an NDP government that has lost control of the basics and a Conservative team ready to restore competence, confidence, and common sense in British Columbia.
