@BobbyMilone29 Not against RHP. For LHP yea maybe occasionally, but you could also just give Stanton a day against LHP when he is back given he can’t play everyday and he’s platoon neutral (even reverse lately)
@Yanksland He should go down and play 2B and maybe even try CF. There’s no real situation he should play any other position and only those two in a potential (not likely though) platoon.
Lombard and Schuemann are RHH and better gloves on the left side of the infield.
Trent Grisham since May 1st:
.281 AVG
.366 OBP
.474 SLG%
.840 OPS
Low strikeout rate (16.3%), high walk rate (14.7%), and a 110 wRC+ on the season. Best CF they could have gotten this winter.
@NYRROB78@MissYankee Aroldis Chapman has 0.46 ERA this season (1.17 last season), no one has shown much against him.
I’m not even saying Volpe is good just that is he is far more useful against LHP.
@NYGB904@MissYankee The vs LHP is still sort of decent given that Goldy, Rosario and even Volpe are legit threats. Wish we still had Grichuk though.
Vs RHP is completely dependent on Rice and Bellinger with occasional contributions from Grisham, Caballero and Jazz
@Greyhond23@RyanGarciaESM Not opposed, Miami would be though.
Also Jazz at least hits RHP which is more than I can say for more than half of the rest of the team
