I asked: ‘And will there be a good after that evil?’

He said: ‘Yes, but it will be tainted.’

Alḥamdulillāh, our Summer Camp is off to a fantastic start.

We now have over 30 boys and girls attending, and the numbers continue to grow each day.

Our aim is not only to keep the children active during the holidays through sports and activities, but also to help them grow in character and faith. Throughout the day they are learning good manners, teamwork, respect, responsibility, and studying the fundamentals of their religion in a positive and enjoyable environment.

One of the highlights is seeing everyone sit together to eat at the masjid as one team, strengthening brotherhood and sisterhood while building lasting friendships.

Our goal is to help raise a generation that is strong in body, sound in character, and firm upon Islam, building a community upon righteousness and piety.

“And cooperate with one another upon righteousness and piety.” (Al-Mā’idah 5:2)

May Allah reward all of the parents for entrusting us with their children, reward our teachers and volunteers for their efforts, and especially reward our head coordinator, Shaykh Abbas , for his dedication, organisation, and care in making this programme a success.

May Allah bless these children, accept everyone’s efforts, and allow us to continue building a community upon goodness and piety.
