@GrammarTable I would always use « Santos’s » because a) that’s what the great English teacher Mr. Gallimore taught us in high school in the 1970s (in Toronto); b) « Santos’ », if spoken, makes me wonder for a second if you’re saying « George Santos, (the) Treasurer ».
