@BenMank77@JoshMankiewicz Fine, Ben, thx! Hope all is well with you and the family. Have some funny stories of your time down here. Need to put’em in a book before I get too senile to remember! Always wanted to meet Josh.
Think I’ll fly my girls out to LA to say Hi.
🥂Cheers to so many great folks I get to work with today and over the past *38 YEARS* ! Walked into WHAS11 as a reporter for my first day on THIS day April 22. I was 24 years old😊.
@PeterHotez@HMHou Polonius utters this line in Hamlet-“To thine ownself be true and it must follow as the night the day, thou can’st not then be false to any man.” You personify that, Dr. Hotez. Don’t let the Bastards get you down!
@PeterHotez@HMHou Actually kind sir, it is I who should thank you for all the fine work you’ve done down thru the years and the saving of untold numbers of lives. You’re my Hero!
Among the many reasons I was proud to receive the LBJ Moral Courage Award from the Holocaust Museum Houston @HMHou in 2023 and it sits proudly in my modest home library in HoustonTX
The way I-95 in SC, from 26 to the Georgia line, is a two-lane country road from hell then opens up to three lanes of beautiful wide open freeway *the moment* you cross into Georgia is just embarrassing.
@BenMank77@Oldy10 Slight grammar correction, Ben. “Everybody gets to choose WHOM they’re voting for.” Or, even better- FOR WHOM they’re voting.
Can’t help it, Ben! My Grammarian Mom drilled it into my head over and over.
@BenMank77 Loved your Dad, Ben. Years ago when I asked him if he thought JFK was done in by a
conspiracy, he sent me reams and reams of info by fax; in fact,
my machine runneth over! This was
before the days of
cell phones. So
easily approachable and all we had in common was you.
Happy 100th to the smartest, funniest guy in the room. Any room. These 2 pics represent 3 of the many things he taught me & my brother Josh.
1) Your shirt choice matters
2) Don’t be afraid to let people know how you feel
3) Try to look right into the camera
Miss you every day.
This was a surprise!!! This happened at our annual Golden Apple Awards ceremony Saturday evening.
Thank you Aaron Edwards for all that you do for the students of Aiken County schools and thank you for the shout-out. 😀
