@HackerNewsTop10 The https://t.co/lwaJ9ynTNW has been historically bad with attribution of their sources. LDraw had to contact them directly to get them to acknowledge use in their about page and most average users still don't know that the https://t.co/lwaJ9ynTNW's library is back by LDraw.
@mattwoodget@SeaTacAirport@AlaskaAir And the poor, underinformed employees at the airport did the best they could despite being hung out to dry by management. They took the brunt of the ire while the shot-callers sat comfortably behind their desks and prioritized the least profit impactful answer over uniting people
When life gives you lemons...
Use them to pelt the adminstration of @SeaTacAirport for knowing the forecast and responding wholly inadequately and @AlaskaAir for cancelling all flights after 4 p.m. even as SeaTac opened more runways and other airlines were taking off.
@mattwoodget@SeaTacAirport@AlaskaAir I have a lot of understanding regarding the challenges of weather. If it were just that there would be no issue.
The problem is that this wasn't a freak storm and the way both organizations handled it were far less than adequate.
@AlaskaAir I get that weather happens but is there a reason why you're shadow cancelling flights out of SeaTac without reflect the true status online? People depend on accurate reports to decide when/if they should leave home. Especially with weather.
@BrickLink I just got one of the invitational sets, Sheriff's Safe. Great set, had fun building it. However, is there any plans to release a desktop instructions app? I don't like having to peer at my phone screen and using Bluestacks for Android emulation is a pain.
@filmspotting I wasn't a huge fan of the draft thing. Not an indictment against the idea, just not my thing.
That said, Josh has EEAAO, Green Knight, and The Lobster so he has the edge in my book.
Just finished @StarTrek Strange New Worlds season 1
It. Was. Awesome.
This is top tier Trek.
P.S. "Nu Trek" (and for the record I hate that label) detractors can crawl back to the rock they crawled out from under.
Multistop routing is nice but still no "drive" mode to have Maps track without an active route like a traditional standalone GPS. I guess @Apple doesn't really want me to ditch @waze.
@GearboxOfficial Gotta love the anti-consumer @EpicGames exclusive. Didn't Epic sue Apple and Google for walling off their garden? The hypocrisy is deafening.
@filmspotting and @LarsenOnFilm 's review of Dune is why I shouldn't listen to film reviews of books that I'm super passionate about. They were overall positive and they make a good point that the film should stand on its own but it was still a frustrating listen.
@timcourtney I'm sure your partially referring to my FB comment. For me it's context. A lot of memes read (or imply) "We should do X to the exclusion of everything else". I'm over hear thinking why not both. The text is imperfect and visual cues are excluded which contributes to this.
Hi @Apple. I like the iOS 15 Maps app overhaul quite a bit. Want me to use Maps instead of Waze? Add a drive mode so I can use it as a standalone GPS with having to enter a route.
@timcourtney This sounds heartless (and it is kind of) but 38,000 is a super low number compared with the amount of people-hours on the road every year. Would 0 be a better number? Sure. But life itself is risky.
@GlacierNPS WTF. How come the reservation requirement was not mentioned in February when I was doing trip planning. I would have set a reminder. Now have to wait until two days before and hope. So pissed π‘π‘π‘
